- Now add 1+1/4th cups water and bring it to boil. After a boil, turn to low flame and cover it with lid and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes. Then add fresh coriander.
- Now meanwhile for smoky flavour, burn 2-3 small pieces of coal on burner.
- Keep one steel bowl in middle of gravy, add in hot coal. Pour ghee from top onto the hot coal.
- Smoke will come, immediately cover with lid and seal in the smoke for minimum 3-5 minutes for nice light coal flavour. Increase the time if you wish strong flavour.
- Please note, switch off the gas while you leave coal in the gravy.
- Now after the desired time, uncover, remove the bowl carefully as it is hot, add coriander.
